Merchants remain responsible for their return policy and final operational and financial decisions.
Supported service
SwapBack records verified requests, decisions, replacement choices and return documents. It does not edit storefront themes, inject storefront scripts, issue refunds or store credit, create replacement orders or purchase carrier postage.
Optional Shopify return automation
Merchant-granted Shopify Returns permissions enable native request and decision synchronization. SwapBack does not connect to marketplaces and does not move money. Preview mode performs no Shopify writes. Unconfirmed Shopify operations are blocked from blind resubmission. Review warnings and Shopify state before intervention.
Subscriptions
Shopify hosts plan selection, approval and billing. An active plan is required for paid operations. Prices and subscription changes are displayed by Shopify; no subscription is approved by an app-only status message.
